GMO Inside goes to General Mills

GMO Inside Campaign Director delivers nearly 10,000 petitions to General Mills. Thanks to the nearly 10,000 of you that have so far taken action with GMO inside, calling on General Mills to remove GMO ingredients from their products!  Yesterday, GMO Inside delivered 9,830 petition signatures to General Mills at their headquarters  outside of Minneapolis, MN!

Along with the petitions, we shared our concerns about GMOs with General Mills’ team, and the fact that every day more and more consumers are learning about GMOs and demanding non-GMO choices.  Additionally, we warned them that as more states propose labeling initiatives, it will only be a matter of time before companies are required to disclose their GMO ingredients.  We encouraged General Mills to commit to dropping their genetically modified ingredients completely, in order to get ahead of the curve.

General Mills prides itself as a company that gives consumers what they want.  We need to keep letting General Mills know that what consumers really want is healthy choices for their families, free of GMO ingredients. (and if we can achieve and non-GMO food supply in the process, that’s even better!)

If you have not yet signed our petition, please sign today and share with your friends.

    Hi GM.
I have already stopped buying your cereals.
    We used to love them.
Then..I decided to make a choice against GMO’s.
    Against eating them
Against using my family as a lab rat.

Your company can create a better product without pesticides, and unknown genes.
DO NOT let Monsanto be your puppeteer.
Be the company you should be.
Support farmers who choose to grow wheat, corn , etc. without the need of poisons.Buy their product, use their product.Sell their product.
    BE PROUD.Label IT!!
WE DON”T SUPPORT THE USE OF GMO’s.You’ll win alot of cereal votes.
    against Genetic interference.

I hope they will take the iniative and lead the way for company’s to get rid of GMO’s everywhere. I think that almost everyone who is educated on GMO’s and the effects it has on human health, they don’t want them and especially for their children. They have to realize that people, especially children are what is important to the American people, not GREED! I try and educate people on GMO’s so they can have the knowledge to teach other’s so we can make our own decisions on what we want to eat.
